The sky was grey and the air thin
The wind in the mountains blow softly
The eagle screeched the fox barked
The goblins are in town
Goblins fearful creatures
Full of woe
Gnarled faces broken minds
No human friends can they keep
Summoned by spells,rites and rituals
To do thy evil biding.
Step forth the knight
A faithful sword a trusty mace.
A bag of tricks and a hearty prayer
Slash and hammer
Slash and Hammer
The titanic struggle between
Good and evil goes on.
Knights vs Goblin
Night after night
The fight goes on
Goblin forge to the fore
Humans lose the ground
Men and goblins die
The darkness grows
The light fades.
When all hope is lost.
A knight strikes a blow
hope is renewed.
The light glows.
The light is infectious
growing with each passing day
The darkness recedes.
The knights grow stronger
The Goblins weaker
Evil is banished.
But their lurking
Around every corner
Evil waits.
Waits for a turn
in the tide of humanity.
