The Stork Flies 

The Stork Flew
Over the fields and countryside 
To the city
He did go
Always looking down

His Catch was heavy
Weighing him down
Onwards to his destination
On heavy wings he did fly

There’s his place to go
Down he swooped
Quietly he went
Back to the sky he did soar
Lighter by far

Awake she came
A sound she could hear

The sound of a beautiful baby 

 

Grandaughter

We have waited for so long
For a Grandchild be it a boy or girl
I would just like to say thank you
For a beautifully little girl

She is worth all the wait
heart ache and pain.
In the past and future to
Dress her in pink and rejoice
Spoil her a little for we will spoil her a lot
She will never want for
Nan and Grandad will always be there

When she falls down and cries
When she needs a toy
If she is lonely and afraid
Nan and Grandad will always be there

When you are tired and grumpy
When you need a rest
When you need a sitter
Never fear
