Grandaughter

We have waited for so long
For a Grandchild be it a boy or girl
I would just like to say thank you
For a beautifully little girl

She is worth all the wait
heart ache and pain.
In the past and future to
Dress her in pink and rejoice
Spoil her a little for we will spoil her a lot
She will never want for
Nan and Grandad will always be there

When she falls down and cries
When she needs a toy
If she is lonely and afraid
Nan and Grandad will always be there

When you are tired and grumpy
When you need a rest
When you need a sitter
Never fear
